Our school enjoys a close working relationship with its Parents and Citizens Association. The aim of our P&C is to establish and maintain an environment of working together to provide the best possible learning experiences for the students of Killarney P-10 State School. We actively encourage parents and community members to support our P&C through its activities and its monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month (excluding school holidays).
The P&C works with the school principal to discuss school direction, budgeting and programs. The P&C has also been instrumental in raising substantial funds that have been invested in school facilities and infrastructure.
A major event run through the P&C is the Border Ranges Trail Ride. This event harnesses the support of the whole school community and service organisations to operate a non-competitive trail bike ride run in March / April each year.
The P&C operates a tuckshop and uniform shop that provides access to economical school uniforms. Both the tuckshop and uniform shop are available for online purchases using the following link: http://schoolshoponline.com.au
