We are very proud our high levels of participation and achievement across our school in a variety of different sports.
We enjoy a healthy sporting rivalry between our sporting houses 'Chauvel' and 'Madsen' in our Inter-house Sporting Carnivals that include swimming, cross country and athletics. Chauvel Sports house (blue) is named in honour of Charles Chauvel who was born in Warwick and was a prominent pioneer in Australia's film industry. Madsen Sports house (red) is named in honour of the Honorable Otto Ottoson Madsen MLA who made a significant contribution to government at both a local and state level.
In primary our students compete in Southern Downs carnivals and trials in a variety of individual and team sports to gain selection in our regional team - Darling Downs. These students are then able to progress to State and National competition.
Primary students also participate in special sporting Gala Days that showcase rugby league, soccer, netball and hockey. Our school often participates in the Warwick interschool sport network.
Our secondary students compete in both Border District and Warwick All School sporting events and like primary students have the opportunity if successful to move onto Darling Downs, State and National competition.
